Malaysia will have a new tallest building with the completion of The Exchange 106 at Tun Razak Exchange in the second quarter of 2018. The building’s superstructure has already been completed and is now 450m above ground, which is almost the same height as the 451.9m Petronas Twin Towers. At 492.3m, The Exchange will feature 106 floors and eight basement levels upon completion. It will have three million sq ft of lettable area and up to 34,000 sq ft of column-free office floor plates, which are designed for open plan interior configurations and flexible layouts. KUALA LUMPUR: The Exchange 106 has signed up some large institutions to be its tenants as it populates the floors of the country’s tallest tower, which will be completed by the end of this year. All of the prospective tenants who signed up are “big space users” and are predominantly from the local financial and lending sector, a source said.
